Jason was unable to attend the funeral of his Mighty Morphin Power Rangers (1993) costar Thuy Trang (who died suddenly as a result of a car accident near Bakersfield, California) because his brother's funeral was on the same day. He nonetheless sent his heartfelt condolences to the Trang family.
